Wrestling video games have been a part of the video landscape for decades, starting with the 1980s all the way through to the modern day, and with good reason. The entertainment that wrestling provides is a great fit for video games as a medium, and games based on WWE form a key part of that. Pacific Drive is Ironwood Studios' debut title, a twisted, intriguing driving/survival game that takes players into unexpected places with its high-risk, high-reward gameplay. While not without the occasional stumble, Pacific Drive is one of themost inventive and satisfying survival games in years.

Although Don't Nod is most well-known for the Life Is Strange series of character-driven adventure games, the developer has sometimes broken away from that dialogue and puzzle-driven model. Harmony: The Fall of Reverie's impressive visual novel inspiration is one such example, while Vampyr's horror-tinged action RPG remains one of the best vampire games you can play. The latest game to show Don't Nod's ambitious side is Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden.

Konami's Silent Hill: The Short Message is the company's first real attempt to return to the series since Hideo Kojima's P.T. experiment (ignoring, as everyone should, Silent Hill: Ascension), and serves as an interesting parallel to what came before. P.T. was originally billed as a demo for an unnamed game from 7780s Studio, a fictional game company that never existed, and quietly appeared on the PlayStation Store with little fanfare. It wasn't until players had completed P.T. that they even learned they had just played part of a new Silent Hill game.

Granblue Fantasy: Relinkis the latest entry from a series now entering its tin anniversary, a time when many franchises might try to reinvent themselves or lean too heavily into old habits, but there are no signs of that here. In fact, Relink may be the best content the series has ever put out. It's a chaotically incredible experience, even if the story and characters sometimes feel a bit too derivative or predictable.

Not one game, but three, are included in the remastered Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, offering a combined total of over 90 hours of mysteries and courtroom drama for sleuthing players to enjoy. Capcom's remastered trilogy featuring Phoenix Wright's prodigy includes Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice, along with many extras and updates. For the $50 price tag, evidence would show that there is a lot of entertainment value to be had in these courtroom text adventures.

A sequel to 2011's Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank expands upon its predecessor in fun new ways while still keeping the trademark silliness that made the first so beloved. Developed by Snoozy Kazoo and published by Grafitti Games, the title eschews the melee focus of the original and shifts to a more shoot 'em up style with delightful results. Though it's not a very long or complex title, its fast-paced style, inventive weaponry and quests, and frequent laugh-out-loud moments make for an incredibly enjoyable journey.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the latest installment in the Prince of Persia franchise from publisher and developer Ubisoft. Since the original Prince of Persia game release in 1989, the franchise has covered a variety of storylines, and the newest iteration provides a fresh perspective once again.

Warhammer 40,000 has been a continual presence in the world of video games. From early titles like Space Hulk or Chaos Gate, which received a revival just last year, through to recent shooters like Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, there’s been an army of games of varied quality over the years. Enter Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader from Owlcat Games, taking a RPG approach for the far future setting.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandorais a game that promises a lot just by existing. Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, it's a very AAA take on a very blockbuster film franchise, hellbent on creating a beautiful world that's almost impossibly dense with vivid life. Much to the game's credit, it rises to the challenge of rendering Pandora's splendor with care, and a share of somewhat pedestrian elements never manage to overwhelm everything that it does right.
