Acclaimed films 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle took home big prizes at the 2014 Golden Globes ceremony this past Sunday, while actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey and Cate Blanchett were recognized for their performances in 2013. However, the Oscars don't split up nominees into different genre categories (drama and comedy/musical), so it remains to be seen which of these films/stars will be crowned at this year's ceremony.

Comedic power-couple Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunited to host the 71st Annual Golden Globes Awards, following their popular stint as co-hosts during the 2013 iteration of the Golden Globes Ceremony (the annual awards shindig for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association). Per usual, there were memorable, if short-changed, speeches made by the winners (Matthew McConaughey), odd moments (Diane Keaton's tribute to Woody Allen) and memorable funny moments (tipsy Emma Thompson taking the stage).
