With news that Hulu's sequel series for Buffy the Vampire Slayer is moving forward quickly, the community continues to speculate which fan-favorites could make a comeback. One such character is Anya Jenkins, especially following Emma Caulfield's teasing of her character's return before the reboot was even announced.

There have been plenty of frightening and memorable monsters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but these are the scariest. Sometimes it was of the monster-of-the-week variety, and sometimes her foe was a big bad, built up over one or more seasons. For a network series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was never afraid to introduce some very scary monsters into the mix.
