Rosario Dawson's most recent role, Alma Ortego in DMZ, is the latest in a long line of badass women portrayed by the actor. Since 1995, Dawson has been filling roles that please her rather than Hollywood. She has starred in several Indie films and performed ing roles in short pieces. When she appears in a well-known movie, though, she almost always plays a character who manages to outmatch the others around her, whether this is in physical combat, intelligence, or cunning.

Showrunner Roberto Patino says there are plenty of stories for a DMZ season 2 in the future. DMZ is a dystopian television miniseries streaming on HBO Max based on the Vertigo comic book series of the same name. Created by Brian Wood and Riccardo Burchielli, the DMZ comics are set in a desolate Manhattan which has become a demilitarized zone (or DMZ) during the Second American Civil War. All four episodes of DMZ premiered on HBO Max on March 17.

HBO Max's ambitious political epic DMZ is backed by a stellar cast of characters. Alongside shows like Lucifer, Preacher, and The Sandman, DMZ is just one of the many DC/Vertigo comic book titles that have been recently adapted for the screen. Like every original DC/Vertigo comic, DMZ tackles mature subject matter that aims to push the boundaries of contemporary fiction. It would be an understatement to say that the series DMZ, which is on the roster of HBO Max's March 2022 releases, is a challenge to adapt even for its experienced cast.

DC's limited series, DMZ, has released its trailer starring Rosario Dawson searching for her son in an active war zone. DMZ is based on an eponymous comic that ran from November 2005 to February 2012. The story is set to follow a medic named Alma (Dawson) searching for her son in a post-Second Civil War America within the demilitarized Manhattan Island.

March 2022 marks the addition of several highly anticipated TV show premieres and streaming movie debuts on HBO Max. After Warner Bros.' large slate of movie releases in fall 2021, many of these films are either returning after their initial HBO Max premieres or finally making their streaming debuts on the service in March. Alongside HBO Max’s movie titles, March 2022 will see the long-awaited series and season premieres of HBO TV shows and original HBO Max programming.
