In a recent appearance at Fan Expo Philadelphia, Superman & Lois actress Bitsie Tulloch discussed why she feels the show stands out in a sea of other Superman adaptations. Along with Tulloch, the series starred Tyler Hoechlin as a slightly older Superman, while their sons, Jonathan and Jordan, were played by Michael Bishop and Alex Garfin, respectively. As a result, Superman & Lois focused more on how Lois and Clark would adapt to the challenges of parenthood, cancer, and other more realistic life problems.

Looking back four years after the first episode of Superman & Lois debuted, I'm still surprised the show never used 1 villain storyline with Superboy, despite the number of theories that it would come to fruition at some point in its narrative. Superman & Lois' ending brought the show to a conclusion 3 years and four seasons after its first episode hit screens in February 2021, bringing an iconic version of the DC hero's story to an end. However, it's safe to say there was a lot of drama and action along the way.

Looking back, I can't help but wish we'd gotten to see one of the coolest costume decisions in a live-action Superman show for longer than 2 short scenes and a collective runtime of just under a minute. Superman's live-action history is one of the most considerable in superhero history, with him and Batman squaring off to be the DC hero who's had the most on-screen movie time. However, when it comes to the matter of TV series, the Man of Steel easily takes the crown from his brooding ally, as there have been a far greater range of live-action Superman shows starring the Kryptonian over the years.
