After facing charges of involuntary manslaughter for the Rustshooting, Alec Baldwinis officially a free man. The case began on October 21, 2021, when Baldwin fired a dangerous prop gun in the direction of Halyna Hutchins, the Western movie's cinematographer. While Baldwin was unaware, the gun was armed with live ammunition. Hutchins was struck and killed, while director Joel Souza was wounded. Both Baldwin and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed were charged, but Baldwin's charges were officially dismissed on July 12.

ABC has decided to cancel Alec Baldwin's Match Game along with three of the network's other game shows. Based on the original game show hosted by Gene Rayburn in the ‘70s, the series has received several revivals over the years, with the recent reboot debuting in 2016. Produced by Fremantle, Match Game featured a rotating cast of celebrity ists and contestants attempting to match answers to fill-in-the-blank questions to win a cash prize of $25,000.
