In fact, Logan's shorter height has always been a key part of the vicious man's tough exterior, clearly making up for some sense of height-related insecurity, so to make Wolverine a tall or even average height truly does take away some key parts of his personality and history. Specifically, Ross postulates that because of how beloved the character is by fans and creators, Logan is rarely drawn or cast as a man of 5' 3", even though that is how the character is meant to look, representing his animalistic nature and connection the very real, ferocious but small animal the wolverine.

The story features a team-up of the two animal-themed foes on a journey to save the world from a global pandemic. The adventure brings them closer than ever before and the two share several intimate moments that will leave any Batman fan perplexed.

It's a rare occurrence whenever an actor is allowed to participate in the writing process of their character.
