A recent Screen Rant interview has revealed the Psychonauts 2 Collector's Edition will feature a host of behind-the-scenes information and new insight into the creation of the game. Released over a decade after the original, the long-awaited sequel to Psychonauts was met with massive praise from both critics and fans. A year after the sequel's release, an Collector's Edition contains even more for players to enjoy.

The 2022 BAFTAs have awarded 18 games, developers, and performers for their outstanding achievement, including Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Unpacking, and many more. Hollis Fortsythe’s “Casino Hospital” stage provides an excellent example of how Psychonauts 2 combines gameplay and unconventional storytelling, as well as character development from the inside out. The sequel approaches serious issues with more care than the 2005 original, but the added empathy only adds to the depth of the story and its themes, without lessening the game’s humor.

Players can turn Raz's levitation balls to white or purple in Psychonauts 2. As Raz continues his journey to be a part of the Psychonauts spy organization, players will travel deep into the minds of a variety of different characters to help them sort through their problems. One of the first abilities Raz unlocks is the ability to create a levitation ball. This PSI power allows Raz to ride on a bubble to jump higher, float down slower, and get around dangerous gaps. This ability is essential for clearing the game's more difficult platforming challenge. Players can change the colors of these levitation balls with a bit of effort.
