Hasbro has just announced brand-new additions to one of its most popular Star Wars figure lines. While the Black Series may be bigger and feature more detail, Hasbro's Vintage Collection 3.75 inch figures are inspired by the classic Star Wars Kenner line of action figures from the 1980s, having begun in 2010 with new and exciting characters being added every year. The list of Order 66 survivors grew with Ahsoka’s Baylan Skoll, though it’s been unclear how he survived the Jedi’s massacre – until now. The late Ray Stevenson’s captivating performance helped make Baylan a magnetic presence on screen, but there was more to his intriguing nature than that. As an Order 66 survivor – one who knew Ahsoka’s old Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker, no less – Baylan’s use of the dark side and his unique orange lightsaber are incredibly mysterious. His purported desire to break the cyclical conflict between the light side and the dark, the Jedi and the Sith, is equally compelling.

When Shin Hati was first introduced to the Star Wars franchise in the Ahsoka trailer, the curiosity surrounding her kept growing until the series finally premiered. What audiences got was a fascinating character being trained as something other than a Sith but with some Jedi influence, thanks to her master, Baylan Skoll. The duo have made a strong case for being Disney's best Star Wars villains. Even though Shin doesn't seem to know what she wants by the end of Ahsoka, she is very talented at tracking people down like a hunter.

A fun Ahsokacosplay not only reimagines Shin Hati but also equips her with a striking new lightsaber design. Shin and her master, Baylan Skoll, have already made a big impression with their distinct orange lightsaber color, raising questions about what this shade represents. Having gone their separate ways in the season 1 finale, Ahsoka season 2 can explore Shin in more depth as her own villain.

A group of dedicated Ahsokafans have created one of the greatest Star Warscosplays in recent memory, bringing Sabine Wren and Shin Hati to life with outstanding detail. Originally an animated character in Star Wars Rebels, Sabine made her live-action debut in Ahsoka season 1, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Alongside animated characters adapted into live-action, Ahsoka introduced several new faces to the franchise, with Ivanna Sakhno's Shin Hati becoming a new standout villain.

Two incredible Star Wars cosplayers have effortlessly recreated Sabine Wren and Shin Hati’s intense lightsaber duels from Ahsoka. Sabine Wren and Shin Hati were interesting foils for one another – Sabine, while a skilled Mandalorian fighter, was at a distinct disadvantage while fighting with a lightsaber, while Shin, who had much more training, often let her anger and recklessness get the best of her. Their battles were intense, personal, and driven by frustration, making their scenes together in Ahsoka all the more compelling, whether they were fighting or not. Now that both Sabine and Shin are stuck on Peridea in another galaxy, there’s no telling what will happen next.

While Shin was driven by a need for her masters’ approval, Sabine was driven by a need to find her long-lost friend, and the two characters clashed at every turn, giving the series a chance to showcase several intense and nail-biting lightsaber duels.

Star Warsis known for its compelling and iconic villains, and while the Disney era has introduced many new antagonists, Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati proved to be the best in Ahsokaseason 1. Disney Star Wars has continued to feature classic villains like Darth Vader while resurrecting Legends characters like Grand iral Thrawn, expanding on their stories and even incorporating them into new mediums.
