The character of Venom is about to get his very own horror-themed series called Venom: Black, White and Blood. The Black, White, and Blood title has been attributed to several Marvel-housed characters over the years as a means of presenting a more violent, R-rated take on classic heroes and villains, even scarier than the Venom movie trilogy. Tom Hardy confirms a Venomand Spider-Man crossover movie never even started development at Sony or Marvel. Recently, Tom Hardy lamented that a Venom and Spider-Man crossover "got close" to happening. Unfortunately, there are no plans for Sony and Marvel to bring Tom Holland's wall-crawler and Tom Hardy's symbiote anti-hero together anytime soon. In fact, Sony's Spider-Man Universe is on indefinite pause, and there are no other Spider-Man-related projects in Sony or Marvel's slate other than Destin Daniel Cretton's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, coming 2026.
