However, certain Greatsword skills are simply way better than others and should be in everyone's arsenal. While some of the best Greatsword skills are part of the basic Greatsword skill tree, other more powerful Greatsword skills require specific items to be equipped.

If you're wondering how to get more health charges in The First Berserker: Khazan, you'll need to track down the additional Netherworld Energy orbs found scattered around the game's various regions. Netherworld Energy is the vessel by which Khazan heals, and you will start the game with three initial charges. This can be further increased to nine Netherworld Energy charges, giving you a better chance of surviving the trials and tribulations throughout Khazan.

The First Berserker: Khazan is one of the best Soulslikes of its kind to come out in years, and it includes a ton of difficult and often frustrating bosses that are sure to give any Soulslike veteran a run for their money. There are 16 main bosses in First Berserker: Khazan, starting with Yetuga all the way up to the main antagonist, Ozma. If that wasn't enough, there are 21 secondary bosses that can be found during the various bonus missions in each area as well. However, these are typically reskinned versions of primary bosses.

If you're wondering if The First Berserker: Khazan has a level cap or if it's possible to reach a maximum level, the answer is both yes and no. While you can reach an eventual maximum level, your level will be capped based on your New Game+ status. Each time you play through an NG+ run, the level caps are gradually increased until you are able to reach the highest level possible in NG++.

The First Berserker: Khazan is one of the most challenging soulslikes you're likely to ever play, and if it's your first soulslike experience, you have probably already thrown your hands up out of frustration. If you start to die a lot at the beginning of Khazan, the game will actually recommend that you try out its Easy Mode option. There are some definite benefits to using Easy Mode, but it also has some major drawbacks, and the decision can't be reversed. For that reason, I don't recommend using Easy Mode unless you are completely new to the soulslike experience.

Trokka is yet another main boss in The First Berserker: Khazan that is bound to get on your nerves, with a ton of oddly paced long-range attacks that require some practice to get down the timing. You'll be used to the challenge at this point, but Trokka poses an additional layer of difficulty if you haven't figured out how to effectively use combos on your build. However, there are a handful of tricks you can implement to make this fight slightly less annoying. Trokka marks the beginning of the endgame for Khazan, so congratulations, you're in the home stretch.

Gwydo is a somewhat challenging secondary boss in The First Berserker: Khazan, and he is a re-skinned version of the Maluca boss that gave you a ton of trouble earlier in the game. Gwydo's move set mirrors Maluca's in many ways, but primarily from Maluca's second stage. Like Maluca, Gwydo uses a katana and a set of greatswords, but primarily focuses his attacks with the katana. Gwydo's glowing katana will give you flashbacks to the Maluca fight and his ridiculous teleporting move, but now that you've had practice, it's a little more manageable.

Once you make it to Linon Mine in The First Berserker: Khazan, you'll be faced with a handful of tough main and optional bosses, including Yeturak. Yeturak is a reskinned version of Yetuga, the very first boss you face off against in the game. However, don't be fooled by Yeturak's similarities with Yetuga, as the beast has an entirely new set of moves and deals substantially more damage than his doppelgänger.

As you get used to the loot and crafting system in The First Berserker: Khazan, you'll notice that most of the powerful gear sets in the game require unique crafting materials. These special materials can be acquired in various ways throughout Khazan's journey and farmed from individual bosses along the way. Gear sets need to be unlocked by tracking down their associated scrolls, typically located in random areas throughout the various regions or dropped from bosses upon defeating them.
