World of Tanksis teaming up with the popular TV show Vikings to give players a new Battle loaded with items designed to bring out their inner Scandinavian warrior. World of Tanks is no stranger to crossover events as the game has teamed up with some iconic franchises to insert an extra level of nerdy fun into its strategic battles. While Vikings is taking the spotlight now, previous events have focused on beloved properties like The Terminator, G.I. Joe, Warhammer 40,000, and even the toy brand Hot Wheels.

A special limited-time event across several Wargaming titles called Metal Fest will be headlined by the iconic band Megadeth. The collaboration spans multiple games in the World of Tanks and World of Warships series and was done with a significant amount of contributions from the band themselves, including frontman Dave Mustaine. Metal Fest is slated to begin this week, and will showcase the legacy of the group in a myriad of different ways.

Several games in the Wargaming franchise, including two from the World of Tanks series, will team up with band Megadeth for a special new in-game event called Metal Fest. Since it began, the Wargaming universe has expanded across console, PC, and mobile devices to offer a myriad of different combat experiences for players. Releases span across land, air and sea, with titles like World of Tanks: Modern Armor, World of Warplanes, and World of Warships: Legends.

Wargaming has released a new trailer for World of Tanks, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Milla Jovovich, in celebration of the Holiday Ops 2023 event. World of Tanks has an annual tradition of releasing festive cinematics that celebrate both the game and action heroes, and 2022 has proven no different.

The Holiday Ops 2022 event in World of Tanks is set to begin on December 9 and will be guided by none other than action hero, politician, and Austrian military veteran Arnold Schwarzenegger. During Holiday Ops in World of Tanks, players can receive 32 special daily missions from Schwarzenegger that include special rewards like Small Boxes and Holiday Stamps. After completing 27 of these missions, they can even bring him on board as their tank commander. Schwarzenegger's character includes three skills and voiced lines containing some of the most iconic quotes from his movies.

A new G.I. Joe-themed season has gone live for World of TanksModern Armor, giving players access to a ton of content such as the MOBAT and H.I.S.S. tanks.
