The popular battle royale game Microsoft's own game streaming service, and Fortnite has gone through multiple different iterations and changes over the years, the fanbases for both seem to have only increased.
Recently, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker had an exclusive screening of one of their teaser trailers inside Fortnite's world before the film premiered.
Now, Ninja has been officially inserted into the world of Fortnite for everyone to enjoy. According to Ninja's Twitter page, the official Ninja Fortnite skin will be available in the Epic Store for players to purchase from 6PM CST on Thursday, January 16th through 7PM CST Sunday, January 21st. Ninja says this is a dream made reality for him, as the streamer has imagined having a personal skin in Fortnite since he started playing the game. You can check out his full message below:
As something which Ninja has discussed wanting before and his many, many fans agreeing (one going to far as to create a custom Ninja skin themselves) it's nice to see the early online reactions being so positive. Ninja's inclusion is part of Fortnite's Icon Series, a new program which collaborations Fortnite had with personalities like Marshmello and Major Lazer, and future content will include things from Loserfruit, The Grefg, and more.
Fortnite has been one of the most popular games in the world for a few years now, and the announcement of even more collaborations with other pop culture icons likely means the game won't be going away any time soon. Although games like Fortnite and Minecraft are among the top platforms used by predators to prey on children, and Epic Games seems to be constantly involved with some sort of lawsuit, most recently about yet another stolen dance move, Fortnite still remains of the of top earners in the industry, and will likely remain that way for a few more years to come.
