Here are a few ways for players to prepare for the Bidoof Day.

  • Shiny Hunting: Participate in as many raid battles and wild encounters as possible during this time period. When encountering a Bidoof, run if it's not Shiny and select the next one. This will save time between encounters.
  • x8 XP: If there's a Lucky Egg burning a hole in the inventory, this is the chance to use it. The game will be offering an x4 catch bonus during the event. Combine that with a Lucky Egg to bring it to x8. This is perfect for gaining some levels for lower-level players.
  • A New Special Research: While the details aren't clear of what players need to do, this one is the first ever to allow players to choose their own path. Depending on what choices the player makes will determine how the story will go. It will be interesting to see how that develops.

Pokemon Go is ready to have a stacked month for July. It will be interesting to see what other events they have in store. This is the Summer for Pokemon Go to make its grand return.
