Hex is my favorite Western comic character, even though I prefer Marvel overall to DC because as this article has said, DC relies a bit too heavily on the core 6 to 8 Justice League characters, where Marvel has far more character love spread out. I wouldn't mind seeing Hex be given an actual power like his rough movie tried to do. Could be what's needed to propel him to the masses. Assuming they DON'T go a more gritty route. I agree mostly with the other comment here; DC doesn't have THAT strong of a Western writer, though it would be entirely possible for them to hire one of the Rockstar lead writers, as publishers like Image and Marvel have done the same; hire a video game writer (or even a movie screenplay writer) to write a short comic series story.
