Book adaptions are a dog's dinner. Season 3 especially bad. So much missing. Very disappointing for someone who has read all 15 of the books many many times. Hopefully the tv series will encourage a slew of new readers to the book series. You don’t know what you’re missing.

the series doesn’t do the books any favours. The books, while long, flesh out characters and scenes well. I understand adaptions of the book for tv shows need to be concise and move the plot along by cutting large chunks of the narrative out but this is to the detriment of the tv series. This 3rd series nowhere near as good as series 1 and 2. Will I watch the rest? Probably in the hope it gets better but I won’t hold my breath

Why can’t we get the dirk maggs audio dramas released as movies. All three books , out of the shadows, river of pain and sea of sorrows. All excellent story lines that fill in gaps in the alien time line
