I think you are missing the part that these authors have been writing for Lucasfilm longer than Disney has owned it. I don't think your statement is accurate or fair. These Authors don't get published by Disney, nor are they proofed/edited by Disney. I get that you don't like Disney but that doesn't mean you get to put libel out there. Disney took the books that were already out there (existing canon) and put them to film.
