With a third season is all but guaranteed to come at some point down the line. The finale of Season Two set up the major developments that define the series in its latter half, and whatever comes next will begin to finally unravel Solo Leveling's secrets.

Unless the series decides to do something a little different, that is. Anime as big as Solo Leveling typically takes itself to the big screen, with movie adaptations covering major arcs in cinema quality. Though its sections are somewhat narrative-heavy, establishing Hunters from other nations while introducing the Monarchs and Rulers, there is one arc not even the manhwa took the time to explore, and it would make for a perfect film.

Solo Leveling's Kamish Raid Would Make For a Great Movie

The Unexplored Arc Would Provide Needed World-Building

The Ahjin Guild, Double Dungeon, Japan Crisis, and International Guild Conference arcs both contain elevated stakes and set-up for Solo Leveling's final climactic battle. In the process, several Hunters from other countries are introduced into the series, and a few play big roles. One in particular is Thomas Andre, who eventually fights and then gifts Sung Jinwoo a pair of daggers made from the teeth of the dragon Kamish.

Just before that, Jinwoo visits the corpse of the dragon and attempts to extract its shadow, though the body is too old and crumbles away. It's a shame because Kamish would have been quite the addition to his army. The dragon descended from the first ever recorded S-Rank gate, and killed hundreds of Hunters before laying waste to the entire west coast of the United States. Only after a long struggle is it defeated at the hands of Thomas Andre and the remaining S-Rank Hunters.

July 22 Will Be a Good (and Expensive) Day for Solo Leveling Fans

Solo Leveling is the current hottest name in anime, and fans will finally be able to own their own piece of the series come this July.

That battle is never shown, however, and is only described through dialogue and character interaction throughout the series. If Solo Leveling wants to bring itself to the big screen, there may be no better arc to cover. A-1 Pictures would have full creative freedom to depict the Kamish Raid however they like, and a movie would guarantee high quality.

The Kamish Raid Would Give Fans a Closer Look at Other Hunters

It's typically frowned upon when an anime adaptation begins to stray from its source material, but in some instances, it can be worthwhile for a series. In the case of Solo Leveling, covering the previously unexplored Kamish Raid would allow fans to get a closer look at other Hunters, expanding the world of the story in the process. Becoming acquainted with Thomas Andre in particular would likely make his later inclusion in the series, and eventual gift to Jinwoo, hold more meaning.

Most importantly, the arc would include some of the best action fans have seen thus far, and an early introduction to the sort of monsters who appear later in the series. Solo Leveling took the anime world by storm in its second season, and its follow-up is sure to have more than a few eyes on it. Before then, the series might benefit from straying away from its source material and adapting one of its previously ignored arcs to film.
