Spider-Man: No Way Home has already proved that Spider-Man still can't let go of Iron Man. Very little has been revealed about the plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home, but the merchandise based on the film has offered clues — including hints that Peter is still holding on to Tony's influence in his life. As one of the youngest Avengers, Peter seems determined to carry on his mentor’s legacy in his own heroic career, honoring him via his Spider-Man costume design.
Doctor Strange will replace Iron Man as Spider-Man’s mentor, but Tony still holds a special place in Peter’s life.
Marvel has recently revealed merchandise for Spider-Man: No Way Home, including Funko Pops, Hasbro figures, and LEGO sets. This merch release is the first look fans have had at Peter's new suits. While the figures feature various suits — including a suit integrated with Doctor Strange gadgets and a black and gold suit — there is one suit that carries heavy influence from the stylization of Iron Man.
Peter had originally turned down the suit in Spider-Man isn’t ready to let Iron Man go just yet.
