Nightmare Mode Differences

According to Samurai Gamers, the most noticeable difference in Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Remaster is the increasingly aggressive nature of ghost enemies. Their health pools will be larger and they will inflict much more damage than the Normal and Hard Modes. Players will need to be more aware of their situation throughout the game and act more defensively through this playthrough.

The other big difference is Medicine, Scared Water, and Film are no longer available to be purchased from shops. This puts a strain on resources and requires players to be more careful when spending items throughout the game. Each resource becomes very precious and without these items, players will find themselves losing quite quickly. Casual fans of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Remaster may not want to venture this far into the game's difficulty, but for those hardcore players who are always up for a new challenge, Nightmare Mode may be the perfect fit.
