Warning! Spoilers for A.X.E.: Eve of Judgment Day #1 by Marvel Comics

The current Prime Eternal is hellbent on erasing the X-Men from existence. To do so, Druig is about to unleash a powerful weapon capable of wiping out mutants in "seconds." In a new preview for A.X.E.: Eve of Judgment Day #1 by Marvel Comics, Druig and Domo come up with a weapon that would not only destroy all mutants but would be untraceable back to the Eternals.

In a recent Marvel Comics bombshell, it was revealed that the Eternals consider X-Men and the mutants excess deviation, meaning their purpose on Earth from the Celestials, eliminating Deviants, has taken on an all-new meaning. A.X.E.: Judgment Day #1 will feature the Eternals, X-Men, and the Avengers facing off after the revelation, with the ancient race of cosmic heroes unleashing several powerful threats against mutantkind to fulfill their ultimate mission. A powerful weapon designed to kill the X-Men takes center stage in a new preview for the prelude to the event.

In a brand new preview for A.X.E.: Eve of Judgment Day #1 writer Kieron Gillen and artist Pasqual Ferry, the Machine show that while the Avengers and X-Men are relaxing, the Prime Eternal Druig is planning how to wipe out the mutants and their excess deviation. So Druig asks Domo the most efficient way to kill all the mutants. Surprisingly, Domo has a practical and discreet way of doing so, revealing a powerful weapon in the form of an anti-matter bomb.

AXE PREVIEW 1

Domo reveals that the "wonder" of the powerful weapon is that it's made from generalized technology, meaning it could be deployed by anyone and can't necessarily be traced back to the Eternals. Domo suggests dropping the weapon through a node beneath the X-Men's home of Krakoa, which would instantly solve the "mutant problem" on Earth. Domo adds that the mutants on Arraki won't know who dropped the bomb, and a civil war would break out due to the confusion. Druig wastes no time putting the plan into motion, bashfully telling Domo he wants to annihilate the mutants immediately.
