Amy Slaton from only saving grace was that "hoarder" Amy's baby had no idea what was going on at the time. Someday, Gage may be embarrassed by the pictures, but there's always the chance that he will love them.

For a few seasons, Amy and her husband Michael Halterman were open about wanting a child of their own but were concerned that their health problems would make their goal of being parents hard to achieve. Amy's weight problem was a hurdle that made family planning more complicated. Fans watched as Amy took her health into her own hands and started to turn her unhealthy lifestyle around. After months of hard work, Amy was finally able to undergo gastric by surgery. Even though Dr. Procter advised Michael and Amy to hold off on having their first child, Amy found out that she was pregnant with Gage only a few months after her procedure. Luckily for the 1000-lb Sisters reality star, there were not any major complications after she gave birth.

Fans of 1000-lb Sisters still can't get over the fact that Amy chose to have a toga-themed bridal shower. The unorthodox theme rubbed a few viewers the wrong way, as they felt that the party and accompanying pics had a cosplay vibe that detracted from celebrating the impending birth. The party's maternity shoot showed Amy rolling around on the ground with Michael while they kissed. Viewers were beyond happy for the duo when they found out that the couple was expecting baby Gage, but felt that the theme lacked a certain decorum. The day of the party, March 15, happened to be their wedding anniversary. One savvy follower of Amy's pointed out, "Your anniversary is the Ides of March, and you guys are kind of dressed like Julius Caesar!"

It is hard to understand why Amy chose this particular decor for her party theme, but it was obvious both she and Michael felt like Greek or Roman royalty for the day. After years of struggling, it makes sense that Amy would have wanted to indulge herself with a fancy party. The toga theme may have been selected with comfort in mind, as Amy was pregnant, and most togas are loosely-fitting, flattering outfits. The future mom and dad looked extremely happy at the event, and will surely share the photos with baby Gage one day.

The newest season of 1000-lb Sisters has just gotten underway, and while Amy is thriving, her sister Tammy is dealing with multiple setbacks. Tammy decided to leave the rehab facility after losing weight. However, at a recent doctor's visit, she learned that she gained back 15 pounds. Fans want her to embrace healthy eating and exercise. and they would love to see Tammy following in Amy's footsteps. Amy is trying her best to help, but since she has a baby, her priorities have changed.
