Tammy Slaton of 1000-Lb Sisters insists she's determined to stay healthy, but some fans aren't so sure, after seeing a video of Tammy snacking on candy. The Kentucky native has been trying to lose weight for four seasons, only recently seeing some small success. Even though she had been released from the rehab center, Tammy could be close to falling back into old habits.

1000-Lb Sisters's Tammy Slaton took to her TikTok earlier this week to share that a candy company had sent her some yummy treats to try. Tammy shared a plethora of frozen skittles and showed off her energy drink, but the smorgasbord only upset her followers. Some felt she was being "silly" for reintroducing sugary snacks into her lifestyle.

As Tammy unwrapped a piece of candy, she made sure to put haters and trolls in their place, noting that she knew she would be "torn" apart for her choice of snack.

1000-Lb Sisters' Tammy Slaton Is Staying Positive

Tammy couldn't help but poke at trolls by referring to a famous line from Disney's The Lion King saying "Hakuna Matata" and adding another piece of candy to her mouth. Though Tammy knew she'd get backlash from fans for her break in the diet, she shared honestly that sometimes she needs a treat. Tammy also shared that since her health and weight loss journey, her taste buds have changed, revealing she is into savory menu items now.

Since undergoing her gastric by surgery this past summer, Tammy has lost nearly 300 pounds. Between sticking to her diet plan and exercising in the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center, the 1000-Lb Sisters star has a new lease on life. She also was helped by her now husband, Caleb Willingham, who cheered her on and worked out with her in the gym. After Tammy's lung collapsed at the end of 1000-Lb Sisters season 3, she knew her life had to change. The near-death experience was a major wake-up call for the TLC personality.

This latest season of 1000-Lb Sisters has shown Tammy really stepping up. While she has had her moments succumbing to a sweet treat or two, she has picked herself back up and continued on her journey. Season 4 showed her marrying Caleb in an intimate ceremony and moving back to her Kentucky duplex. Since being home, Tammy has made sure to keep her fans up to date on her weight loss progress, often giving progress reports. Tammy is now anxiously waiting for her husband to her, so they can review their sweet treats together.
