21 Jump Street presents a fresh take on a cult TV show that began in the late 80s. Fans Morton Schmidt and Greg Jenko from their antics as an odd couple and their hilarious personalities. During their undercover operation at a high school, they meet several characters that help make 21 Jump Street richer.

They also make for some hilarious moments, helping make some fans say  is the funniest movie of its year in the 2000s. However, some funny characters are less likable than others. The personalities in the film showcase their affability in their attitude and actions.

Mr. Walters

Mr. Walters is one of the villains in 21 Jump Street, so it's unsurprising he is one of the most unlikable characters. He has many funny moments. Mr. Walters' funny antics help make some fans say is one of the funniest comedies of the 2010s.

However, he presents negative qualities. He is stern and cold to students. He constantly makes fun of Jenko. He is revealed as the drug supplier for the high school and lashes out at several people throughout the film.

Captain Dickson

Captain Dickson is Jenko and Schmidt's boss. He prepares them for the assignment to go undercover at the local high school and checks in on their progress. He presents his personality in several ways.

He is loud, boisterous, and angry in nearly every scene in which he appears. He berates the police officers he oversees and insults Jenko and Schmidt multiple times. His aggravated behavior and humorless attitude make him less likable than some of the other characters in 21 Jump Street.

Mr. Gordon

Mr. Gordon is the school drama teacher in 21 Jump Street. Audiences meet him when Schmidt takes a drama class and eventually is set to star as Peter Pan in the school play. He encourages the students to participate in auditions and seems to be very invested in the production of the play. Mr. Gordon is more likable than some of the other teachers presented in the movie, like Mr. Walters.

He doesn't lose his cool when Schmidt bursts on stage after his understudy has already begun replacing him. He appears to motivate his students, making it mandatory for everyone in the class to read Peter Pan's part, leading to Schmidt's starring role. However, his lack of self-awareness makes him less affable than some of his peers.

Eric Molson

Eric is Schmidt's friend and one of the main dealers at school. He befriends Schmidt after judging him and Jenko following their suspicious behavior. He shows his likability when he shows his care for environmental issues, highlighting his conscientiousness. He is kind to Schmidt and helps integrate him into his friend group.

However, Eric is cold toward Jenko and makes mean remarks about him even though he knows Schmidt is close to him. He shows his arrogance when he first meets Schmidt and Jenko, speaking curtly with them. He is selectively kind, making him less likable than others.

Morton Schmidt

Schmidt is one of two central characters. His funny personality helps make many viewers call 21 Jump Street one of the best remakes of the 2010s. Schmidt was a persona non grata in high school but becomes popular when he goes undercover with Jenko. The result brings out negative behavior. Schmidt talks about Jenko behind his back with his newfound friends.

He ignores his and Jenko's assignment to focus on his selfish pursuits, like when he plans to apply to college in hopes their assignment continues. He is kind to Molly and proves loyal to Jenko by the movie's end. However, his self-serving actions make him less likable than some of his peers.

Greg Jenko

Jenko is one of the protagonists in the film, and his personality is one of the most developed. His persona working with Schmidt helps make one of the highest-rated buddy cop movies. Audiences see him as a well-liked jock in high school but he has a hard time fitting in when he and Schmidt go undercover.

He appears like an unlikable bully when he's in high school, but presents several affable qualities when he goes undercover. He is kind to his group of friends and is unashamed of them in front of their critics despite them being outcasts in the school. However, he lashes out at others and is showcased insulting his classmates before he is humbled by his experience undercover.

Ms. Griggs

Ms. Griggs is Jenko's science teacher. Her main arc revolves around the joke that she is uncontrollably attracted to Jenko and tries to suppress her reactions to him. However, she also presents her personality in moments laying out this gag. Ms. Griggs is cheerful.

She almost always has a smile on her face, even if she isn't talking to Jenko. Furthermore, she is giving. She tells Jenko that she hands out a ten-dollar Quiznos gift certificate to whoever finishes her pop quizzes most quickly. Other than her inappropriate behavior toward a perceived high school student, she rarely showcases unaffable behavior.

Molly Tracey

Molly is Schmidt's love interest. She meets him in drama class, and the two end up with starring roles in the school play. She rarely showcases unpleasant behavior and is one of 21 Jump Street's most likable characters. She is cheerful, funny, and kind to almost every character she interacts with in the film.

She is appreciative and tells Schmidt how happy she is that the two met. She proves to be forgiving, accepting Schmidt's apology after it is revealed he has been undercover as a policeman throughout the entirety of their relationship.
