Strand is easily one of the most likable 9-1-1: Lone Star characters, easily maneuvering between befriending the firefighters and paramedics at the 126.
Although Geminis are versatile and have success in making others feel welcome, they tend to fear being alone and deflect their insecurities with humor. At the start of T.K.'s relationship with Carlos, he was hesitant to trust again, still burned by his breakup in New York. With the help of his new team, T.K. was able to rediscover his enigmatic energy and thrive at the 126.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Tommy Vega
Cancers are known for their sensitivity and comion for others, usually putting their own problems aside to ensure their friends and family are taken care of. Despite having only ed the team in season two, Tommy Vega rapidly became one of the best 9-1-1 characters, charming audiences with her kind nature and witty personality.
While Cancers flourish in environments where they can feel useful, they also gravitate toward stability in their personal lives and prefer to build a comfortable routine. Tommy counteracts the chaos of her job by running a calm household where her daughters can grow up feeling safe despite the dangers of their mother's profession.
Leo (July 23 - Aug 22)
Marjan Marwani
Leos are the entertainers of the zodiac and enjoy being in the spotlight where they can show off their talents. Their ambition and energy are their most notable features. Marjan Marwani fills that position on the 126 team, bravely taking on the tasks many others would be afraid to face and using her online influence to help save the station.
Fiercely loyal, Leos are bold and loving people who will fight for their family to the end. Even as Paul tried to push her away, Marjan was undeterred and insisted on checking up on him following his diagnosis, effectively saving his life during a heart attack.

Grace Ryder shows many of these qualities as a 9-1-1 operator. Grace is one of the most intelligent 9-1-1: Lone Star characters and uses her wide array of knowledge to help serve her community and efficiently assist all of her 9-1-1 callers.
Virgos feel most at home when they are contributing to others and adding something positive to the world. Virgos often feel uncomfortable under the spotlight and prefer to let their actions show their skills. Grace's identity is formed around her ability to help people in need; following the car crash she struggles with her inability to work and look after herself independently.
Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)
Mateo Chavez
Libras are natural intermediaries among their friends, seeing both sides to arguments but preferring to avoid conflict. Libras have strong opinions but are also incredibly empathetic, and make excellent caregivers. Mateo Chavez had a timid beginning as the probie of the 126 and was insecure in his abilities to make it as a firefighter.
Though Libras aren't boastful about their successes, they thrive when ed by people they respect. Mateo flourished with external validation of his talents from Captain Strand and rose through the ranks to become an official firefighter.
Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)
Judd Ryder
Complex and often very serious, Scorpios are the cool older brother of the zodiac signs. While Scorpios face everything in life with strength and fearlessness, they can find it difficult to confront their own vulnerability. No one fits this sign better than Judd Ryder who began his character arc repressed and angry but grew into an emotionally mature partner with the help of Grace.
Though Scorpios are deeply committed to their partners and friends, it can take a while to break through the walls they put up around themselves for protection. Despite his best efforts, Judd came to respect and even love his Captain and teammates, vowing to protect them like family.

Carlos' police work reflects his quest for justice and he regularly finds himself venturing outside his jurisdiction to close a case. The need to help his community and his unique ways of solving cases make Carlos the perfect candidate for a detective position.
Capricorn (Dec 22 - Jan 19)
Billy Tyson
Capricorns are the disciplined, responsible ones of the zodiac signs, aiming for perfection and success. Billy Tyson had a rough relationship with Owen Strand and his changes to the 126 in the beginning, feeling threatened by Owen's success in the position Billy believed he deserved.

Gwen Morgan
Aquariuses are the free spirits of the zodiac signs and prefer not to be tied down in their work and relationships. They are often believers in the supernatural and pride themselves on being unique or unusual. Gwen Morgan is the perfect example of an Aquarius as she enjoys being in large groups but is also flighty and difficult to pin down both physically and emotionally.
Aquariuses have many quirks that allow them to stand out from the crowd and express themselves. Gwen's sloth tea-inf is one example of an eccentricity that may not be necessary possession but gives insight into her personality all the same.
