Warning! This article contains SPOILERS!!!
Despite being blasted by fans for being boring, 90 Day Fiancé season 9 viewers are skeptical, believing that several of the featured marriages will eventually fail.
Currently, 90 Day Fiancé has a better long-term marriage success rate than its spin-off show, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. However, there have been many franchise divorces and separations in the past eight years of content. Currently, around half of the 90 Day Fiancé couples are still together. While all four couples who appeared in 90 Day Fiancé season 1 are still married, many of the later seasons have seen marriages dissolving. One of the reasons why is the fact that fans think couples started appearing on the show for clout, rather than to air genuine international romances.
It has been rumored that all seven of the featured 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 have been announced. Therefore, many franchise fans think that one of the more successful (or dramatic) season 9 couples will next appear on the spin-off show.
7. Yvette Arellano & Mohamed Abdelhamed
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans were heavily opposed to the marriage between Yvette Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed. However, older American mother Yvette still tied the knot with the young Egyptian man, despite all of her friends and fans being against the nuptials. Yvette and Mohamed are completely different people, as Yvette is free-spirited, while Mohamed wants a conservative and traditional Muslim wife. Many viewers believe that Mohamed used Yvette for a Green Card, especially since he said he would find another visa sponsor if she didn't help him get his papers quickly enough. There have been rumors that Mohamed cheated on Yvette, though the validity of leaked messages between Mohamed and his alleged girlfriend has not been confirmed. Many viewers think that the pair will soon separate.
6. Kobe Blaise & Emily Bieberly
Kobe Blaise and Emily Bieberly are another married couple who may be way too different to work out long-term. Emily is bossy and selfish, and enjoys controlling everyone and everything. This made 90 Day Fiancé fans turn on her and label her a season 9 villain. Emily's domineering personality clashes with Kobe's Nigerian culture, where men are typically in charge. While Emily lives with her parents in Kansas, Kobe showed a strong desire to live with fellow Nigerian expats, including his friend Temperature, in Columbus, Ohio. Many viewers believe that Kobe was already planning his escape from Emily when he was caught looking up one-bedroom Columbus apartments online.
5. Shaeeda Sween & Bilal Hazziez
While Shaeeda Sween walked away from season 9 with from many fans, her husband Bilal Hazziez has been labeled a season villain, alongside Mohamed and Emily. Bilal was slammed by viewers for being extremely controlling, while Shaeeda was liked for her winning personality. Bilal has a very rigid way of living that Shaeeda decided to submit to in order to make their relationship work. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers are hoping that Shaeeda chooses independence, and decides to break free of Bilal and his controlling personality. Viewers have labeled their marriage a ticking time bomb, when it comes to the risk of separation.
4. Ariela Weinberg & Biniyam Shibre
Like the previous couples, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre lack compatibility. Ariela explained that they are polar opposites and view life completely differently. Ariela and Biniyam both want different things, and clearly only went through with their marriage due to their son Aviel Shibre, whom they both deeply love. Viewers have already witnessed many seasons of content between Ariela and Biniyam from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The duo has already been together for many years, and Ariela and Biniyam have clearly found a way to make things work. Some franchise fans believe their drama was scripted, and that they aren't as unhappy as they seem on camera.
3. Thaís Ramone & Patrick Mendes
Thaís Ramone and Patrick Mendes gave 90 Day Fiancé viewers mixed feelings when it came to their changes of long-term relationship success. Thaís struggled with marrying Patrick due to the lack of from her beloved father, while she also voiced a strong desire to return to her native Brazil. However, she chose to marry Patrick, and appears to be loving her new life in the United States. Like Ariela and Biniyam's plotline, some viewers believe that Thaís and Patrick faked their drama for a storyline. The two appear to want the same things out of life, and they are dedicated to each other. They also both speak Portuguese. Meanwhile, Thaís and Patrick are rumored to be expecting their first child.
2. Jibri & Miona Bell
Unlike many of the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couples, Jibri and Miona Bell appear very compatible. While they faced some drama over Miona wanting to move to Los Angeles before they had the funds to do so, Jibri and Miona both want influencer lives in the spotlight. While Jibri wants to focus on his music while Miona is interested in the beauty niche, they both love making Internet content and growing their followings. Jibri and Miona also favor outlandish, often-matching clothing, and enjoy shamelessly promoting their relationship. Though neither reality star was popular among viewers, they do appear to be an ideal match for each other.
1. Kara Bass & Guillermo Rojer
Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer are one 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couple who could work out long-term. Kara came across as bossy and domineering, while viewers also worried about her alcohol abuse. However, Guillermo is being hailed as a fan-favorite 90 Day Fiancé season 9 newcomer. Guillermo truly loves Kara, and appeared committed to their marriage, despite his young age. Meanwhile, Kara is the rare 90 Day Fiancé franchise American cast member who speaks her partner's language. Kara and Guillermo respect each other's cultures and families, and both enjoy living life to the fullest and spending time together. As well, Kara is rumored to be pregnant with the couple's first child.
