Ariela gave birth to Aviel in Ethiopia and made a tremendous effort to adapt to Biniyam's culture and respect his way of life. However, she disliked the influence of his friends, who encouraged him to party and misbehave, while his sisters treated her terribly. The trio decided to move to the U.S. to start a new life, where they officially tied the knot. Ariela and Biniyam were then faced with expensive rent, though her doctor's parents initially helped them settle.

If Ariela and Biniyam's move happened, it wasn't to Iowa. In December 2022, the pair was in Iowa, and there was speculation they had moved there. However, according to Daily Soap Dish, Ariela revealed this wasn't the case. The 90 Day Fiancé star said, "No. Fooled you! We don’t live there. We were just visiting family. But we had a lot of fun!" The speculation that Ariela and Biniyam had relocated to Iowa was short-lived.

Ariela has expressed she loves traveling, as she left home as a teenager and ended up settling down with Biniyam in Ethiopia after being married to her ex-husband Leandro Fosque. It appears that Ariela and Biniyam also want to experiment with finding their perfect home, so the choice to settle in Iowa would have been unexpected for the duo. Biniyam previously wanted to move to New York City. Ariela also clarified that while her parents are together, only her father lives in New Jersey, and her mother travels a lot for work.

Ariela and Biniyam have surprised many by staying together, as their relationship has been filled with ups and downs. Meanwhile, Ariela worries about Biniyam's unrealistic dreams, as he wants to live in New York and become an MMA fighter. While there hasn't been an announcement, Ariela appears to be spending a lot of time in Las Vegas, so they may have relocated there.
