Alas, the couple split and Colt appeared a few more times on the franchise before the focus switched to Debbie. For the last two seasons of The Single Life's Debbie found Tony from Canada. He came to America to visit her on her birthday, and after meeting each other for the first time, Debbie was obviously smitten. She believed they’re soulmates.
Colt, on the other hand, wasn’t as convinced and was concerned about how quickly they’re moving. "You’re kinda moving a little bit quickly, don’t you think? You’re going from zero to soul mate." Debbie’s friends have shared a similar concern, but Debbie said Tony treats her "really good." While Colt’s concerns are reasonable, fans have a difficult time taking Colt seriously because they haven’t gotten along in the last year.
Colt and Debbie Johnson Had a Rift Before She Started Dating Tony
Debbie continued to impose on 90 Day Fiancé's Colt and Vanessa’s relationship. Not to mention, she didn’t respect their privacy or space, which led to a major blow out at The Single Life season 2 Tell-All. Upon their return, they still weren’t communicating well, which resulted in Colt storming out of her house. Since they haven’t been on the best of , it’s difficult to believe Colt is acting with the best of intentions.
Additionally, Colt himself struggled to find love on the franchise. He appeared in several seasons with three different women. He didn’t treat them well and was willing to settle just to have a connection. While that might mean 90 Day Fiance's Colt knows what he’s talking about better than anyone else, it also hints at his hypercriticism. Colt moved out because his mother was invading his relationship and now he's doing the same. In the end, it’s possible that Colt has his mother’s best interests at heart, but considering the rift between the 90 Day Fiancé co-stars, it’s difficult to believe otherwise.
