“This is my baby boy,” is how 90 Day Fiancé season 8. The close bond between Brandon and his parents was so evident throughout the episode that some fans pitched they should have been on TLC’s Mothered or I Love Mama’s Boy instead. But as Brandon is all set to welcome his fiancé Julia Trubkina in the farm house he shares with Betty and Ron, egos are surely going to get hurt. And here’s why Betty asking her 90 Day Fiancé star son Brandon to sleep in a different room, is not that her go-go dancing future daughter-in-law is such a bad idea.
Dinwiddie, Virginia, resident Brandon reminded many of 90 Day Fiancé’s iconic Colt Johnson and Debbie when he spoke about his mom being controlling. Never having been in a serious relationship, the late bloomer Brandon, met Russia’s Julia via a video call from his vacationing friend. But spending over $10,000 on his “future wife” cost Brandon a huge debt making him shift base to his parents’ farm hesitatingly. However, as 90 Day Fiancé fans saw Brandon getting ready for Julia’s arrival, Betty revealed that her “radars are out” while doubting if she’s in it for the Green Card, Maybe that’s why the episode focused so much on Betty making sure Julia doesn’t get pregnant due to her and Brandon not being big on using protection. But how successful will 90 Day Fiancé’s Betty be in keeping the young lovers Brandon and Julia apart?
The chances stay slim, with the way Brandon is not “a young boy” anymore and now has a “new life” with a “new wife.” Julia claims that they should go marry the next day when Betty asks if they’re “taking proper steps” to ensure no kids come along, and the Russian celeb promptly replies, “this is my life and his life. Not a life for parents” to the camera.
Owing to Julia’s no-holds-barred attitude, 90 Day Fiancé fans have already started referring to her as “Anfisa.” A Twitter writes, “Brandon is too green. Julia is gonna pull an Anfisa lite on his virgin a*s,” and another fan shares, “Not going to last. Brandon's mother too much in his personal business. Treats him like he's 12. Julia will hate her & farm life. Only here for green card. Disastrous.”
While Julia may try to fit in the fam-life, chances are, her compromise may not last for a long time.
