Simba's death had a profound impact on Julia, leaving a lasting mark on her life.

Julia has been trying to recover from the loss of her pet and is shifting her focus to her business and other relationships.

Julia recently posted a picture of herself with her other dog, Nalla, captioned, "you may not always be prepared, but it's great you have ." A fan, @dougmerenda72, suggested that Julia adopt another dog, saying, "it helps in the healing process," as they had a similar experience.

Julia responded by saying that she wasn't currently interested in adopting another pet. She wrote, "I have a Nalla and I don't think the idea of another dog is right for me." Julia explained that her current goal is to focus on helping other dogs find homes, and she has begun volunteering "to train dogs from shelters sometimes."

What Julia's Decision Not To Have Another Dog Means

Julia Wants To Honor Simba's Memories

Julia considered Simba to be her son and often referred to him as her child. Therefore, it's understandable that she doesn't want to get another pet, as no other dog will be able to replace Simba. Julia didn't see Simba simply as her dog; instead, she cared for him as a mother would for her child. It appears that Julia believes it's too soon to adopt another pet. She likely wishes to take some time to grieve for Simba and honor his memory without detracting from it by bringing in another pet.

It's also possible that Julia doesn't want to adopt another pet due to the ongoing pressure of being a business owner. Previously, Julia didn't have a stable job, and Brandon was the primary breadwinner in the family. However, things changed after Julia launched her new business and found success within a few weeks. Now, Julia is a business owner with numerous orders to fulfill. She is also the mother to her other dog, Nalla, whom she loves dearly. It appears that Julia doesn't have the time or space to care for another dog.

It makes complete sense for Julia to want to focus on her current responsibilities, especially prioritizing Nalla. She is also right in wanting to help other dogs because she is an expert pet owner and has a lot of experience of caring for pets. Julia appears to have many goals she wants to achieve this year. She is gradually expanding her business and will be busy throughout 2025. It would be interesting to see how Julia grows her business over the next twelve months.
