Season 5 stars of David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan are everyone’s favorites. In fact, many TLC fans have itted to watching the spin-off just to watch their sweet shenanigans on screen. From their stint on 2017’s 90 Day Fiancé, the reality TV couple is best ed for Annie’s dowry fiasco and David’s drinking problems. But three years later, does Annie still make David’s heart go boom boom?
No one would have thought that 90 Day Fiancé’s David and Annie would ever achieve fan-favorite status after the season ended. A soul-searching trip in Thailand had landed David at a karaoke bar when he heard the voice of an angel. The angel turned out to be David’s future wife Annie, also 24 years his junior. David offered to buy Annie a drink and the rest as they say, is history. But history does have its roadblocks and this 90 Day Fiancé couple had plenty with David being divorced after 20 years of marriage, with a stroke, and no job. 10 days later, David proposed, Annie accepted and her family asked David for a $15,000 dowry, two water buffalo, and over $6,000 worth of gold. And although the allegations of substance abuse and infidelity against David added to the 90 Day Fiancé pair’s woes, they got married and soon moved to America.
David, 49, and Annie, 24, tied the knot on 1 November in Louisville, Kentucky, which is David’s hometown. Since then, as the American 90 Day Fiancé star suggests, life has been like 50 First Dates because every day David tries to make Annie fall in love with him again. During Thailand trip where David bought the buffalo and Annie got herself a double eyelid surgery which she got called out for on Instagram.
Currently, when he’s not Pillow Talk-ing with Annie, David works a part-time job as an English teacher for Second Language class to adults in the Lexington area, and teaches online. “I am teaching and we have a contract with a company that has business in Asia,” David had shared on a Facebook post and soon enough moved into his own apartment in Scottsdale, Arizona with Annie, as per 90 Day Fiancé husband helped Annie market her brilliant traditional Thai cooking skills into an online website which also offers virtual cooking lessons. As per CookingWithDNA, the TLC twosome also offers tour guide and travel services, and officiate marriage ceremonies as both David and Annie are ordained ministers. Rumors suggest that they might also start a restaurant of their own soon!
Apart from being 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk regulars every Sunday, David, and Annie, who just celebrated their three-year anniversary, also appear on their solo spin-off for TLC, Spice It Up With David and Annie. So far, the pair have cooked up a storm with recipes such as Thai Basil Chicken and Spring Rolls on Facebook Watch. David’s unmissable antics and Annie’s cute commentary has finally given fans what they were always asking TLC for, more Toborowsky content. Looks like this 90 Day Fiancé couple plans to keep making their fans’ hearts go boom boom by giving them more and more “Oh my Buddha” moments in the future.
