Yara Zaya from Yara and Jovi have enjoyed married life together in Louisiana with their baby girl, Mylah. Thanks to Jovi's high-paying job as an ROV supervisor, and Yara's dedication as an influencer and online boutique owner, the couple has enjoyed a standard of living that most other 90 Day Fiancé cast can't swing financially. After all, Yara's makeup line, Boujee by Yara, didn't get its name for no reason. The couple has taste for the finer things, and their lifestyle often brings about interesting stories for those following their journey.
Yara never shies away from sharing her life on social media, and she often takes to Instagram to air out her grievances when it comes to negative situations she faces. However, Yara's rants can come across as out of touch to some of her followers due to her privileged lifestyle. For example, fans weren't buying it when the 90 Day Fiancé star complained recently about being kicked out of her gym for wearing a swimsuit that was too revealing. Just because Yara and Jovi are accustomed to luxuries in life doesn't mean they don't encounter conflicts like everyone else. As she recently teased on Instagram, Yara spoke about a negative situation with a housekeeper that ended with the police getting involved.
Opening up to her 32,000 subscribers on YouTube, Yara and Jovi were expecting the housekeeper at around 8 a.m., but the woman was a no-show until after 11 a.m. When the worker arrived, Yara and Jovi tried to turn her away for making them wait and canceled her services. But, Yara said, the woman demanded they pay her $100 at the direction of her boss. "Jovi was like, 'Hell no, I'm not giving you 100 bucks,'" Yara described.
After their refusal to pay, Yara said the cleaning company owner called the police on the Dufrens and officers arrived at their apartment shortly thereafter. "The police was just like, 'I guess we will just go now,'" the Ukrainian 90 Day Fiancé star explained of the bogus call to the cops. "If the cleaning lady will do her job, if she will clean everything, of course I will pay her," she said. "But just because she stood up on my door, I will not pay the company for that." Yara went on to say she would hire the housekeeper privately without the company that got police involved. "I was never thinking that somebody would call the police on me," Yara reflected.
Despite coming across as spoiled sometimes, Yara seems to be able to laugh off whatever comes her way. Whether it's navigating the challenges of the K-1 visa process on 90 Day Fiancé, or getting adjusted to Jovi's American way of life on Yara will rant on YouTube or Instagram, then move on quickly from any dramatic situation in her life. It appears that fans can count on Yara to share more stories like her recent housekeeper debacle in the future.
