Many viewers found faults with all the newcomers, with Bilal Hazziez, Mohamed Abdelhamed, and Emily Bieberly receiving the most criticism. However, Jibri Bell ended up being the worst part about the Tell-All for many franchise fans. Jibri was on his worst behavior and took control of the show with his vocal outbursts. Luckily, Jibri’s antics didn’t outshine the positive aspects of the Tell-All.
While 90 Day Fiancé season 9 was called boring and scripted, the drama and discussions at the Tell-All seemed surprisingly real. Three of the seven couples were either pregnant or had recently welcomed a child, which helped the viewers see that the relationships were more authentic than they came across. Meanwhile, Emily had the opportunity to redeem herself and appeared far more calm and likable than she did throughout the season. The couples also discussed real issues during the reunion and didn’t seem to have scripted answers. This helped viewers finally warm up to some of the couples before the season came to an official end.

Patrick Mendes’ brother John Mcmanus walked away as the star of the "Tell-All" episode after he hilariously called out an unhinged Jibri and dubbed him "Sparkles." Meanwhile, viewers were happy to see Shaeeda Sween receive while Bilal repeatedly had his bad behavior called out by the other couples. Franchise fans were also pleasantly surprised that TLC added a segment to the end that confirmed Mohamed had cheated on his wife, Yve Arellano, after messaging a woman online. Many franchise fans were glad to see TLC confirm some rumors, as they often avoid answering any kind of gossip.
Overall, the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 Tell-All offered viewers some elements from earlier seasons they had been missing. Fans finally saw some authenticity in the couples and saw how some were growing their families and progressing through issues. While there was growth and redemption for some cast , viewers also saw the more villainous personalities being put in their place.
