A month after the release date was announced, the latest news came in the form of a teaser trailer for 9-1-1 season 8. Highlighting what might be one of the most terrifying emergencies in the show's history (especially for viewers with apiophobia), the simple teaser features text saying "The average human cannot survive 500 bee stings." Image then fades up on a bee on a flower before it flies away and s a gigantic swarm of other bees that are descending on Los Angeles. While the teaser doesn't show any of the series' characters, it is just as effective as any full-length trailer.
