Based on these few reports alone, it would appear the biggest change evident in Assassin's Creed Valhalla is clearly the full use of the PS5 controller and its adaptive triggers. Why the team at Ubisoft Montréal neglected to detail these particular adjustments in the patch notes for Update 1.1.0 is anyone's guess, and it remains to be seen whether the studio plans to add more modifications of this nature down the line.

As of now, however, not enough experiences are putting them to good use. Even first-party Sony titles like Astro's Playroom, Dirt 5, and even Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War seem indicative of what's possible when the time is taken to truly adapt a game to the PS5's revolutionary gamepad.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luma.
