The cast of After We Fell, the third and middle installment in the After series, includes original cast alongside a few replacements. The film hit theaters in 2021, following After in 2019 and After We Collided. After We Fell was directed by Castille Landon and written by Sharon Soboil, and was based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Anna Todd. The After movie series follow an innocent young woman named Tessa Young who falls for bad boy Hardin Scott during her first year at college. In After We Collided, Tessa’s career goals clash with her relationship, and her mysteriously absent father is introduced.
Tessa and Hardin’s tumultuous romance has survived the first two After films, but their relationship is plagued by family drama in After We Fell. After We Fell was filmed at the same time as After Ever Happy, the fourth film in the series which released in 2022. Josephine Langford as Tessa Young
Josephine Langford returns to her starring role as Tessa Young in the third After film. In After We Fell, Tessa prepares to move to Seattle for a big career opportunity at Vance Publishing, where she interned in After We Collided. However, her father’s return throws a wrench into the protagonist’s plans and Tessa’s future and her relationship with Hardin are put at risk as old family secrets come to light. Arguably, Tessa is the most important member of the cast of After We Fell.
Prior to the After series, Langford appeared in the 2017 movie Wish Upon and two episodes of the television series Wolf Creek, as well as a few short films. The Australian actress recently acted in the 2021 Netflix original film Moxie, directed by Amy Poehler, and the film Evolution of Nate Gibson (2021). Josephine Langford is also the younger sister of Katherine Langford, who starred in the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why. Langford will reprise her role as Tessa Young in After Everything.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin as Hardin Scott
Having originated the role in the first two films, Hero Fiennes Tiffin plays Hardin Scott once again in After We Fell. Hardin loves Tessa deeply, but his unpredictable pride and anger issues have long since caused the couple strife, and he must fight to retain Tessa’s trust. Hardin’s fraught relationship with his father also continues to play a role in the movie, and both are crucial of the cast of After We Fell.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin is recognizable from several previous on-screen productions. In 2009, Tiffin appeared as a young Tom Riddle, who later becomes Lord Voldemort, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The actor’s other early films include the 2008 drama Bigga Than Ben and 2012’s Private Peaceful. Tiffin went on to appear in several episodes of the television series Cleaning Up and the 2018 mini-series Safe, as well as the Baz Luhrmann-directed short film ERDEM x H&M: The Secret Life of Flowers in 2017. Like his co-star Josephine Langford, Tiffin will reprise his role as Hardin Scott in After Everything.
Rob Estes as Ken Scott
Rob Estes replaces Peter Gallagher as Hardin’s father, Ken Scott, in After We Fell. Ken is a recovering alcoholic and the chancellor of Tessa and Hardin’s college. Estes is known for his roles in several television shows, including Nick Townsend in CSI: Miami and Harry Wilson in 90210. The actor first rose to fame in the late 80s while playing Glenn Gallagher on the immensely popular soap opera Days of Our Lives, referenced in Friends. Estes also appears in Beatiful Disaster and Famous in Love.
s Turner as Karen Scott
s Turner appears in After We Fell as Karen Scott, Ken’s wife and Hardin’s stepmother. Before Turner ed the cast of After We Fell, Karen was originally played by Jennifer Beals in the first After film, and by Karimah Westbrook in After We Collided. Turner is an actress known for TV shows including The Gifted, Quantico, and The Man in the High Castle. She most recently appeared in eight episodes of the NBC medical drama New Amsterdam, The Boys, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Chance Perdomo as Landon Gibson
Chance Perdomo takes over the role of Landon Gibson in After We Fell. Originally portrayed by Shane Paul McGhie, Landon is a close friend of Tessa and Hardin throughout the After series. Perdomo is best known for his role as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Apart from the cast of After We Fell, Perdomo also appears in the podcast series The Cipher, and provides the voice of Snork in Moominvalley.
Louise Lombard as Trish Daniels
Louise Lombard appears as Hardin’s mother, Trish Daniels, in both After We Collided and the cast of After We Fell. The English actress is best known for her roles in multiple seasons of The House of Eliott and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Lombard also appeared as Lady Anne Davenport in the 2004 Western film Hidalgo. Lombard also appears in the The Left Right Game and The Small Hand (Ghost Story).
Stephen Moyer as Christian Vance
Stephen Moyer replaces Charlie Weber in the cast of After We Fell as Christian Vance, the owner of the publishing company where Tessa works. Moyer is known for his role as Bill Compton on HBO’s True Blood, for which he won the 2009 Scream Award for Best Actor and the 2011 Best Actor on Television Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films. Moyer’s other television show appearances include Shots Fired, The Gifted, and Safe House.
