The real villain of Agatha Harkness' new coven, and may be ing them on the Witches' Road.

To access and survive the Witches' Road, Kathryn Hahn's Agatha Harkness and Joe Locke's "Teen" compiled a new coven of witches in Agatha All Along episode 2, "Circle Sewn with Fate/Unlock Thy Hidden Gate." This coven comprises Jennifer Kale, Alice Wu-Gulliver and Lilia Calderu, and Agatha also recruits Debra Jo Rupp's Sharon Davis, a.k.a. WandaVision's Mrs. Hart, even though she hasn't been confirmed to be a witch. While Sharon Davis currently seems like a simple human along for the ride on the Witches' Road, she could be hiding a game-changing secret from her newfound friends.

While the coven is preparing to travel to the Witches' Road, Patti LuPone's Lilia Calderu notes they need a Green Witch, one with a strong connection to the Earth. The Green Witch she suggests is referred to as a "black heart," mirroring Rio Vidal's own comments about her heart, which is black and beats for Agatha. Reluctant to retrieve Vidal, Agatha instead recruits Sharon Davis, who previously went by Mrs. Hart. This fake-out could be a red herring, however, especially since a black heart signified Mr. and Mrs. Hart coming to dinner in WandaVision's 2021 premiere.

It has become a popular theory that Sharon Davis actually is a Green Witch in Agatha All Along. Agatha notes that the gate to the Witches' Road would only open for a "real coven," while Sharon Davis herself refers to her green fingers, taking pride in her garden, which Agatha also compliments. It seems as though the Witches' Road wouldn't have presented itself without a Green Witch present, and Sharon Davis seems to be completely comfortable with the witchy business she's witnessed so far, hinting at her having prior knowledge of magic and the Witches' Road.

Agatha All Along Will Play With Genre Like WandaVision Played With Time Periods

In the same way that WandaVision explored various time periods and a variety of different sitcoms, Agatha All Along's trailers reveal that the series will explore many different genres of horror and witchy history on their journey down, down, down the road. This includes a 1970s-themed disco setting, a location inspired by The Wizard of Oz, and a 1980s teen-horror-style adventure, among others. This means that Agatha All Along will likely play with many tropes of iconic witch-themed movies and TV shows, which sets up Sharon Davis as a Green Witch perfectly.

The unsuspecting and unassuming character being outed to be a witch is an old and still-impactful cliché in movies and shows focused on witches. In almost every project featuring witches, at least one tries to hide their true identity, and in Agatha All Along, this onus could fall on Sharon Davis. There are clear signs pointing to Debra Jo Rupp's beloved character actually being a witch, and perhaps one of Agatha All Along's most powerful witches, but a new theory takes this one step further, and transforms her into a formidable villain.

A new theory posed by Agatha All Along episode 2. Prior to Agatha All Along's premiere, Aubrey Plaza promised some shape-shifting fun in the series, perhaps thanks to her connection to nature and the Earth. This resembles the abilities of Morgan le Fay and the Emerald Warlock from Marvel Comics, both of whom have been theorized to inspire Rio Vidal. Given this power, it's possible Rio Vidal may have taken the form of Sharon Davis to infiltrate Agatha Harkness' coven.

Promotional material for Agatha All Along has proven that, at some point on their journey down the Witches' Road, Sharon Davis will mysteriously vanish, while Rio Vidal will Agatha Harkness and her coven. This s the idea that Davis is actually Rio Vidal in disguise. Thankfully, this would mean that Sharon Davis might survive the events of Agatha All Along, assuming Vidal hasn't killed her already, and this could provide a fantastic twist for the series that very few may have seen coming.
