It’s an impossible situation and audiences can see the guilt Ahsoka carries for not being able to save Saw Gerrera’s sister. While this arc features a lot of characters, it is Ahsoka-centric and shows what the price of war is even to the strongest of people.

After failing to catch Thrawn’s ship, Ahsoka took her loss with grace, and audiences got the feeling that she and Sabine hadn’t actually lost, and it was just part of their journey. There are a lot of questions about where Ahsoka season 2 will take the titular character and her Padawan, but this finale left audiences wanting more.

The duel between Maul and Ahsoka is made even better because the original actor to portray Maul, Ray Park, returned to provide the motion capture the animators used to develop the animation. This gave the duel a more realistic feel, as the movements were created using real people and weren’t generated solely from animation. When Ahsoka its that she still feels like her legacy is one of death and destruction, Anakin tells her that she hasn’t learned anything and attacks her.

Anakin and Ahsoka’s duel is one for the ages, with Ahsoka managing to still best her former master even after being disarmed. Even more importantly, Ahsoka comes to with her past, and the role that Anakin and his darkness played in it. This change is noticeable when Ahsoka eventually emerges as Ahsoka the White at the end of the episode. While this list only encapsulates a small number of Ahsoka Tano’s most iconic moments, it will surely grow and change as the character makes more appearances in Star Wars projects.
