Summary
- IMDb has ranked the top 10 TV shows of 2023, with "Ahsoka" and "The Mandalorian" making the list.
- The high ranking of "Ahsoka" is surprising, considering it is a live-action continuation of animated "Star Wars" series, and was seen as something of a risk.
- Pedro Pascal is the real winner of 2023, as he stars in both "The Last of Us" and "The Mandalorian," and is IMDb's Top Star of 2023.
IMDb has officially announced their top 10 TV shows of 2023, with Star Wars TV shows.

Lucasfilm will be particularly pleased to see two Star Wars TV shows in the top 10. The surprise, though, is that Ahsoka ranks so highly; this was believed to be something of a risk, given it's a live-action continuation of two animated Star Wars TV series.

Star Wars Shows: Story, Casts & Everything We Know
Several exciting Star Wars TV shows are set to be released on Disney+ in the coming years from the realm of both live-action and animation.
2023 Has Been A Big Year For Star Wars TV - & Pedro Pascal Can Celebrate
The real winner of 2023, though, is Pedro Pascal. He plays a starring role in both The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, meaning he has two entries in the top 10. Although The Mandalorian season 3 didn't receive the same popular and critical acclaim as previous seasons, it nonetheless makes the top ten. Pascal is also IMDb's Top Star of 2023, underscoring how major a player he's become in the industry.
It's quite shocking to see none of 2023's MCU TV shows recognized in IMDb's top 10 list - not even Loki, which was generally praised. The Mandalorian season 1 premiered alongside the launch of Disney+, making it the streaming service's flagship TV show, and it now looks as though Star Wars series are Disney+'s greatest hits. Only two live-action Star Wars TV shows are confirmed for 2024, which does raise concerning questions about the year ahead. One thing's for sure, though; Star Wars is going from strength to strength, as proven with Ahsoka and The Mandalorian.
