First-look images of Netflix's World War 1 film, All Quiet on the Western Front will see the mental toll that Paul and his comrades face as they fight for their country, their lives, and each other in the trenches at the height of the Great War. It was previously announced that Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Albrecht Schuch, Aaron Hilmer, Moritz Klaus, Edin Hasanovic, Adrian Grünewald, Thibault De Montalembert, and Devid Striesow were onboard the historical fiction film's cast.
Netflix has revealed official first-look images for their World War 1 film, All Quiet on the Western Front. The first-look images are dripping in sorrow and gloom, showcasing the rawness of war and the emotions soldiers faced at the heart of the battlefield during the First Great War. Drenched in blood, dirt, and sand, All Quiet on the Western Front takes viewers behind enemy lines and headfirst into the psychological reality of what soldiers endure on the job. The Netflix adaptation of All Quiet on the Western Front was written by Edward Berger, Lesley Paterson, and Ian Stokell and will see Berger in the director's chair. Netflix's film will be the third film adaption of the iconic 1929 novel, following the 1930 Academy-Award-winning film directed by Lewis Milestone and the 1979 television film adaption by Delbert Mann. There is no known release date for the Netflix adaptation of All Quiet on the Western Front, but it may be released sometime in 2022.
