When it comes to reality competition shows, CBS has an edge thanks to a lot of similar shows have come out in recent years. Among them is MTV’s The Challenge that promises to test one’s wits and physical limits.

Unlike The Amazing Race, however, The Challenge doesn’t take on a race around the world. Instead, it features physical challenges where strength and stamina are essential. And as far as we can tell, here are Amazing Race contestants who would be up for this type of competition.

Floyd Pierce And Becca Droz

Pierce and Droz teamed up in season 29 when total strangers were asked to secure a partner at the starting line of the first leg. And when Pierce and Droz formed their team, they also called themselves Team Fun. The duo did return to the show in season 31 but still got eliminated. That said, they have always been known for their positive, happy attitude and that might just help them deal with some seriously intense physical challenges on The Challenge.

Kristi Leskinen And Jen Hudak

If there’s any team ready for some physically intense competition, it would undoubtedly be athletes Leskinen and Hudak. The two women were quite a dominant force during the show’s season 30, even making it as far as the final leg. However, the team lost after facing a rather unique Roadblock that involved putting a plane together. Nonetheless, it became clear how strong the team could be when it came to physical tasks, making them perfect for The Challenge. As Hudak has told CBS, it’s in their nature to “fight hard for something.”

Cody Nickson And Jessica Graf

As far as crossover contestants among CBS shows The Amazing Race, Big Brother, and Survivor go, Graf and Nickson are definitely among the most popular. This is because the couple had managed to win both Big Brother and The Amazing Race.

And so, among former players for both shows, we have no doubt that they are more than capable of taking on The Challenge. It’s really just a matter of figuring out if they are willing participants. Here’s hoping that they are interested and that somehow, the stars would align in the future.

Leo Temory And Jamal Zadran

Temory and Zadran go by the team name “Afghanimals” and each time they returned to The Amazing Race (they’ve been on the show thrice, so far), they’ve gotten better and more competitive. Unfortunately, they are yet to win the race and we’re hoping that they would have better luck on The Challenge. After all, the two men have proven that they are quite physically capable, having had to hoist a Kamper Cow up a tower in Holland in just under 40 seconds. That took some strength, something they would need more of if they take on The Challenge.

Cedric Ceballos And Shawn Marion

Ceballos and Marion are retired NBA players who ed The Amazing Race in season 30. Unfortunately, the two were eliminated during the fourth leg where they had to complete a Speed Bump, sail a dinghy, and even make sandals. Unfortunately, Ceballos and Marion also lost in a head-to-head competition, sealing their fate. As former athletes though, we’re willing to bet that these men still have the stamina to take on some of the most physically grueling competitions on The Challenge. Maybe this type of reality competition would also be more fun for these men.

Colin Guinn and Christie Woods

Guinn and Woods are former Amazing Race contestants who came back stronger than ever, going on to win season 31. For the couple, the goal was to stay focused and stay calm despite any task they had to face.

And in the end, it worked. Not only that, this couple stayed ahead of the rest for most of the race. Hence, we’re also thinking that this couple may even be capable of taking on The Challenge’s most menacing contestants so far. We’re just not sure if they’re willing to go on a show one more time.

Chris Hammons and Bret LaBelle

Like other contestants, LaBelle and Hammons also came to The Amazing Race after competing in another reality show, specifically Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X. The men competed during season 31 and unfortunately, they didn’t win after struggling to compete in one of the most dangerous challenges the show has featured. Specifically, the task involved snorkeling in freezing water while in search of coins. That said, it’s possible that the men are eager to try again and in that case, maybe they’ll consider ing The Challenge instead.

Riley And Maddison McKibbin

These brothers and professional volleyball players, who go by the team name Beard Bros., managed to make it all the way to the final leg of the show’s most recent season. Unfortunately, they got lost while searching for a clue in New Orleans, which ultimately cost them the win. That said, we’ve seen enough to know that the McKibbin siblings have got the physical strength needed to conquer various tasks on The Challenge. Moreover, they should also be able to eliminate competition and advance quite easily too.

Kellie Wells-Brinkley And LaVonne Idlette

Wells-Brinkley and Idlette are former Olympians who certainly mean business. Unfortunately, they got eliminated early on in the race following a string of bad luck. Despite this, we are confident that the women possess the physical prowess to conquer The Challenge. After all, Well-Brinkley happens to be an Olympic medalist, having won bronze at the 2012 London Olympics in track and field. Meanwhile, Idlette reportedly set a personal best time of 12.77 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles while competing at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Gary Barnidge And DeAngelo Williams

Of all the teams that competed in The Amazing Race’s season 32, it’s probably Barnbridge and Williams who are most hungry for a win. As fans may recall, the two men got quite upset when their supposed alliance failed and the other teams refused to share with them the answer to the final challenge during the penultimate leg. So now, we’re thinking that these men are ready to get even, and what better way to do this than to participate in The Challenge, which requires a lot of physical strength and stamina.
