Amazon offers different types of delivery services. There's the Same-Day delivery service which means buyers will receive their orders on the same day they were made. There's also the One-Day delivery service which means eligible items ordered on one day are delivered the next. Another service is Amazon Day Delivery which lets buyers choose a particular day of the week for all their orders to be delivered.
Amazon Locker is an alternative delivery service that buyers can opt in for if they don't want a package delivered to their address. With Amazon Locker, buyers can choose from a list of available secure locations where their orders will be delivered and pick them up within a select time period. There are multiple reasons why a person may choose delivered to their address. For some, it is a safer way to receive their orders if they live in an area where orders are stolen off doorsteps. It can also be an option if the order is a surprise gift for a family member or roommate.
