American Horror Story is preparing for the release of its 12th season, which is not only bringing back some of its frequent collaborators but it's also welcoming new names. Although American Horror Story’s latest seasons haven’t been as successful as previous ones, the series continues exploring different horror themes and fears, and it’s now ready for the release of its 12th season. Titled American Horror Story: Delicate, it’s the series’ first season to be based on a book (Danielle Valentine’s Delicate Condition), which, in turn, has obvious influences from the horror classic Rosemary’s Baby.
American Horror Story: Delicate follows Anna (Emma Roberts), an actress looking to become pregnant. Once she achieves this, she begins to suspect there’s a sinister conspiracy at work to keep her from having her child. American Horror Story: Delicate will see the return of frequent cast Emma Roberts (who hasn’t been a part of the show since AHS: 1984), Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, and Denis O’Hare, but it’s also marking the first appearance in the series of various actors – and here’s every one of them.
8 Kim Kardashian
By far the most controversial casting announcement for American Horror Story: Delicate was that of Kim Kardashian. Kardashian plays Siobhan Walsh, who is seen in the trailers and teasers as Anna’s manager, but her character might be crossing some lines as she seems to also be managing Anna’s personal life. In the book, Siobhan is an aging actor struggling with health issues, so it’s to be seen if AHS goes on that path as well. Kardashian’s Siobhan is one of American Horror Story: Delicate’s main characters, and she featured prominently in promotional teasers and posters, alongside Emma Roberts.
Kim Kardashian is best known for her reality TV presence, appearing alongside her family in Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the spinoff series Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and The Kardashians. Outside the world of reality TV, Kardashian has appeared in a couple of movies in small roles (such as Disaster Movie and Deep in the Valley), as well as in the TV shows Beyond the Break and Drop Dead Diva, and in 2021, she hosted Saturday Night Live.
7 Cara Delevingne
Cara Delevingne is making her American Horror Story debut as Ivory, but details about her character remain a mystery. From what has been seen in American Horror Story: Delicate’s trailers and teasers, Ivory is a woman who has been stalking Anna but also works at the hospital where Anna is being attended, as she’s the one in charge of her ultrasound. Cara Delivingne started her career as a model and made her big screen debut in Anna Karenina, and since then, she has appeared in movies like Paper Towns, Pan, Suicide Squad, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, as well as in the TV series Carnival Row and Only Murders in the Building.
6 Demi Moore
One of the biggest surprises in American Horror Story: Delicate’s cast is Demi Moore. However, it’s unknown who Demi Moore will play, and she hasn’t been shown in any of the posters, teasers, and trailers so far. American Horror Story: Delicate marks Demi Moore’s return to TV after appearing in Brave New World and Dirty Diana in 2020. However, Moore is best known for her big screen roles, such as Jules in St. Elmo’s Fire, Molly Jensen in Ghost, Diana Murphy in Indecent Proposal, Hester Prynne in The Scarlet Letter, and Madison Lee in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
5 Michaela Jaé Rodriguez
Michaela Jaé Rodriguez plays Talia in American Horror Story: Delicate, and though it’s unknown what her role in the series is, her character can be briefly seen in the trailer, and she seems to be working for Kim Kardashian’s Siobhan. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez played Carolyn in Netflix’s Tick, Tick… Boom!, and voiced Nightbird in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, but she’s best known for playing Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista in Pose. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez is also playing Sofia Salinas in the comedy TV series Loot.
4 Matt Czuchry
Matt Czuchy plays Dexter Harding in American Horror Story: Delicate. Dexter is Anna’s husband, who is seen in the trailers and teasers being excited and ive of Anna’s pregnancy but also gaslighting her, making her believe she’s going insane. Matt Czuchry made his acting debut in a minor role in one episode of Freaks and Geeks, with his big screen debut being the teen black comedy Slap Her… She’s French. Czuchry’s most notable TV roles are Sean McGrail in Young Americans, Jamie Farrel in Hack, Logan Huntzberger in Gilmore Girls, Chris Kennedy in Friday Night Lights, Cary Agos in The Good Wife, and Conrad Hawkins in The Resident.
3 Annabelle Dexter-Jones
Annabelle Dexter-Jones plays a character named Adeline, but exactly what Adeline’s role in American Horror Story: Delicate is is unknown. Annabelle Dexter-Jones is no newcomer, as she has appeared in movies like Asthma, White Girl, and Ravage, but she’s best known for playing Naomi Pierce in the TV series Succession. On TV, Dexter-Jones also appeared in the comedy-drama series Red Oaks, the drama series The Deuce, and the crime procedural drama The Calling.
2 Odessa A'zion
Odessa A’zion is playing Gracie Walsh in American Horror Story: Delicate, but nothing more is known about the character beyond her name. Odessa A’zion made her big screen debut in a minor role in the comedy-drama Conception, and years later appeared in Supercool, Mark, Mary & Some Other People, and Good Girl Jane – however, she’s best known for playing Riley McKendry in the 2022 Hellraiser reboot. On TV, A’zion played Liv in the musical drama series Nashville, Shannon in the sitcom Fam, and Joey Del Marco in the teen drama series Grand Army.

Julie White plays Ms. Io Preecher in American Horror Story: Delicate, and it’s unknown what this character’s place in the story will be. Julie White made her acting debut in an episode of Law & Order, and her big screen debut arrived in 1999 in the crime movie Flypaper. Julie White’s most notable film projects are Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (where she played Judy Witwicky), The Nanny Diaries, Our Idiot Brother, and Lincoln (where she played Elizabeth Blair Lee).
