American Idol season 22 winner Abi Carter announced her first concert about a month after she took home the crown on the reality singing competition series. At her American Idol audition, Abi, a 21-year-old musician from Indio, California, stunned the judges--Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan--with her phenomenal rendition of "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish. They gave her one of the three platinum tickets of the season. Abi went on to win American Idol season 22, defeating runner-up Will Moseley and third-place finisher Jack Blocker during the season finale.

In an Instagram post, Abi announced that she'll be performing in her first ever live concert. She wrote, "SURPRISE!! My first ever live concert 'No Amount of Dark' will be at Acrisure Arena on Saturday, July 27." The Acrisure Arena is located in Thousand Palms in Riverside County, California.

Abi told her fans, "I have soooo many new songs & surprises for all of you. I can’t wait to sing with you guys." She encouraged her fans to sign up for her fan pre-sale with the link in her Instagram bio. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 28.

In the comments section of Abi's post, several of her fellow American Idol season 22 contestants congratulated her on her career milestone. Top 14 finalist Jordan Anthony wrote, "Oh. my. god," while Jacy Matthews, who made it to Hollywood Week, said, "WHATTTTTT." In addition, Ziggy, a fan-favorite who made it to Hollywood, left a red heart emoji in the comments. Abi's fellow finalists Will, Julia Gagnon, and Jayna Elise liked the post as well.

Abi has already had success since she won American Idol season 22. Her single, "This Isn't Over," debuted at No. 23 on the Digital Song Sales chart. Abi performed the song during the American Idol season 22 finale. She co-wrote the song with Samuel Michael Shrieve. During the competition, Abi had some phenomenal performances, including "Oceans (Where Feet May Fall)," "Welcome To The Black Parade," "Clocks," "Bring Me To Life," "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light 'Em Up)," and "Hello." Her finale night performances of "Bed Of Roses," "Somewhere," and "This Isn't Over" were also fantastic.

Abi's first concert is an exciting next step in her career after American Idol. In the earlier seasons of the show, the finalists would go on tour together when the season ended, performing live around the country.
