American Idol season 22 winner Abi Carter is teasing new music as she prepares to headline her first concert. At her audition, Abi, a 21-year-old musician from Indio, California, impressed the judges--Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan--with her spectacular rendition of "What Was I Made For?" by Billie Eilish. This earned her one of the three platinum tickets of the season. She then continued to impress everyone with her amazing performances. Abi went on to win American Idol season 22, defeating runner-up Will Moseley and third-place finisher Jack Blocker during the season finale.

In an Instagram post, Abi announced that she's recording new music which she'll share soon. She posted three black and white photographs of herself in a recording studio, with the caption, "new sooooongs coming sooooooon."

Abi has so much potential as the winner of American Idol, so it'll be exciting to see if she releases any footage of these new songs being sung live at her concert.

Her single, "This Isn't Over," which she co-wrote with Samuel Michael Shrieve, debuted at No. 23 on the Digital Song Sales chart. She performed the song during the American Idol season 22 finale.
