After 1500 hours of playtime, one Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has managed to complete all the Nook Miles achievements. These achievements require players to complete certain tasks around their island in return for Nook Miles rewards. The tasks are meant as a fun bonus to give players goals to strive for, but some players make it a challenge to try and complete as many of them as they can.
It took Reddit tarajsimpson 1500 hours of playing over the course of four years to finally finish all the Nook Achievements in ANCH. The Redditor started their island when the game launched and has played the game nearly every day since then, slowly working their way up toward completing the achievements.
According to tarajsimpson, the final achievement they got was the "Relentless Meister," which required them to craft 3,000 tools. This meant having to wait for the tools to break and then crafting new ones. The Redditor cites the lockdown as part of the way they were able to get some of the achievements completed so quickly.
Completing All The ANCH Nook Miles Achievements Is A Rare Task
There Are Over 300 Of Them
Nook Miles in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are an in-game currency that players can redeem for items and rewards. These Miles can be earned as rewards for completing achievements like catching a certain number of bugs or fish, planting trees and flowers, decorating the house, and more. There are 87 achievements in the game, and each has up to six subcategories to complete, making the grand total of all the achievements in the game over 300.

There's Good News For Animal Crossing Fans As The Next Game Could Be Launching As Soon As This Month
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp as we know it is coming to an end, but Nintendo may have quietly announced the release window of its successor.
Some achievements are easy to finish and most players will get them done throughout their playtime naturally. Others are much more difficult to get and require many hours and dedication to finish. The difficulty of some of these achievements makes getting them all completed an incredibly rare task. "I want to get there too, maybe in 2 more years.." states a comment by PartyEssay9913.
We Think These Are The Most Difficult ANCH Nook Miles Achievements To Complete
K.K. Mania And Cast Master Are Among The Hardest
While some Nook Miles Achievements are easy to finish, others seem nearly impossible. One of the most difficult tasks to finish is Cast Master, which requires players to catch 100 fish in a row without losing any. I always get trigger-happy and end up pressing the button too early, so I don't think there's any way I'd ever finish this task. This advice was shared by SprintsAC in the comments to the Reddit post, and it's worked for me in the past: "I've heard looking away from the screen/closing your eyes when you fish makes it easier to catch the fish."

"I Thought They Were A Myth": Fans React To One Of The Rarest Events In "All Of Animal Crossing"
An incredibly lucky Animal Crossing fan shares an image of what may be the rarest occurrence in the entire series and the community is in awe.
Another achievement that's a struggle to complete is "K.K.Mania," since it asks players to attend the musician's show 100 times. This is an issue simply because it's time-consuming, taking place only on Saturday evenings. It's very easy to miss the shows, and although players can technically time travel to accomplish the task the "easy" way, most players agree that it goes against the spirit of the game.
These are just two of the achievements that may give players trouble in completing all the Nook Miles Achievements. The fact that tarajsimpson managed to finish all the difficult tasks is a testament to the dedication of the community and the fans of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, even four years after its release.
