An Animal Crossing's many Reactions can create funny and unexpected situations with their cute designs, offering ways to players to communicate with each other through multiplayer, and with their own island villagers.

Animal Crossing may be one of the biggest games on Nintendo Switch, but its multiplayer elements have often been criticized. s can visit their friends' islands for trading, tours, and just for fun, but with a lack of voice chat and the difficult way the Switch implements typing, it's often frustrating to communicate. Players can use the Nintendo phone app and connect it to their Switch for faster typing, but many prefer to type on-Switch with shorthand comments and - of course - Reactions. The game hosts many different Reactions for almost any situation possible, and Animal Crossing's many beloved villager NPCs will also react to s' Reactions.

Animal Crossing fan and Redditor moominesque's hilarious video shows them dancing to avoid being stung by the game's dreaded wasps. The player is seen "busting some moves with the wasps," which prevents them from stinging the player as the Camera Mode offers a sort of invincibility against island bugs like tarantulas, scorpions, and wasps. The result is a hilarious and perfectly-timed boogie, which is made even funnier when the villager Ruby stumbles across the situation, and offers her own Reaction. The post has been a success on Reddit, with over 14,000 upvotes from amused fans.

There are various ways to Animal Crossing. Players can try to outrun the flying pests and get to safety in a building or their home, but they can also use the Party Popper item to scare swarms away. s can also catch wasps in their nets to avoid being stung, and even the Super Mario Warp Pipes can save a player in need. Being stung doesn't cause too much trouble for a player though, but multiple stings will cause them to faint.

The many Reactions in Animal Crossing can provide a lot of fun for players, not only offering a way to communicate, but also creating funny situations like mooninesque's. New Reactions have been steadily introduced since the title launched in 2020, but whether or not more will be coming is unclear. Nintendo has stated the November 2.0 ACNH update will be its last substantial dose of content, but as with seasonal items, it's hoped smaller drops could introduce even more Reactions for players to create funny situations with wasps in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
