DusyaDu sent their console to Nintendo to fix it, hoping that the cloud backup would retain the island's data and allow them to get right back into creating once they got their Switch console back.

Unfortunately, the Switch was beyond repair and the Redditor got a new Switch in the mail. What's more, unfortunately, is that the cloud save failed, leading to the complete loss of the entire island, EverGreen.

Luckily, DusyaDu still has the dream address for the island, allowing any player to visit the island. This has led others to offer to help rebuild the lost island by donating items.
