The Wooden-block toy might not seem like an obvious choice for beginners as it is a static decoration that players and villagers cannot play with. However, it is an excellent and useful recipe, as other recipes later in the game use this item as one of the ingredients. The Wooden-block toy is easy to craft as it only needs three softwood for materials.
The Stone Stool Is The Perfect Seat For New ACNH Players
Stone stools are great early seats to place around an Animal Crossing player’s island paradise and give residents a place to gather. Later in the game, players can arrange them into outdoor seating areas for a more rustic feel. A Stone stool can be crafted using three stone and makes a good place to sit in a tent or starter house, and they're versatile enough to be used in a wide range of settings.

A nice early-game musical instrument is the ocarina, also found in the DIY Beginners set. Crafting the ocarina is easy for a new player as the recipe only needs five clay as materials. Playing the ocarina for residents is cute as they will sometimes sing or dance. However, if an ocarina is left out, villagers will sometimes play it themselves as they will do with any musical instrument they find on the island.
The Old-Fashioned Washtub Is A Lovely Camping Decoration In ACNH
The Old-Fashioned Wash Tub is a lovely early game decoration that is very simple to craft. New players can farm the materials needed fast in Animal Crossing as only three softwood are needed, which are easy to come by. The tub is fantastic in the beginning for decorating and can be used to create a cute addition to a camping area.
The final item in the DIY Beginners set is a Frying pan which only uses two iron to craft. The Frying pan isn’t especially useful for new players; however, the recipe is good to have as the pan makes a great kitchen decoration later. In the beginning, other recipes that are great for new players give better versions of the flimsy tools, which will last longer and make crafting much less of a chore. Ultimately as players become more familiar and comfortable with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, they will figure out which recipes they want to prioritize for the look of their island.
