Entering a new month means that local museum curator, Blathers, to help encapsulate the island's culture into one space for all visitors and villagers to see.
New fish have arrived in the waters of the players' islands in May. They can be found in the rivers, ponds, and even off the pier! This guide will teach players the best method in hunting down one of the newly arriving fish in the Northern Hemisphere for Animal Crossing: New Horizons: the Angelfish.
How To Catch An Angelfish In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
The Angelfish is available in the Northern Hemisphere from May until October and in the Southern Hemisphere from November to April. This means that players who live in the Southern Hemisphere that didn't catch an Angelfish will need to either travel to a friend's island in the Northern Hemisphere or wait for November to roll back around.
This fish can only be found from 4 PM to 9 AM, meaning that players will either need to catch it in the evening or early in the morning. The Angelfish can be found in any of the rivers on the player's island or in any rivers on Mystery Islands. It will appear as a small-sized shadow. Players will know they are fishing up the correct size fish if they are seeing Crucian Carps and Loaches quite often.
Players that are waiting for the correct time of day can spend their time crafting fish bait or catching other fish they have yet to obtain. If the players fishing rod breaks, they should keep in mind that they can also terraform a more convenient river to fish from, scare off other fish to increase spawn chances, or find a Mystery Island with a river that will spawn fish more rapidly.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now on Nintendo Switch.
